Antminer L3+ is an addition to Bitmain's Antminer Application Specific Integrated Circuit flagship brand. Bitmain produces it, a giant in the mining industry. Launched in 2013, the Antminer brand has been one of the leading brands in technical specifications and excellence in produced miners quality. The Antminer has over 75% share in the mining industry worldwide.

Due to the popularity of Litecoin, there was a demand for mining hardware that can mine the coins. Bitmain produced and started shipping the Antminer L3 series from the end of 2016. The L3 series consists of L3+ (504Mh), L3++(580Mh), L3++(596) and L3+(600Mh). All L3 models come with an impressive BM1485 Litecoin ASIC chip.

Antminer L3+ (600Mh) has a dual-fan arrangement at the rear and front sides with a suitable aluminum shell case. The arrangement is consistent with the previous model's design. It weighs about 4.4kg with size dimensions of 188 x 130 x 352mm, making it smaller than most miners with an added advantage of convenient handling and stacking.

Notable for its low power consumption, the L3+ is ideal for people who want to mine at home. The L3+ has a power consumption of about 850W, and for users with free electricity, it is an added advantage as it reduces electricity costs. Calculating the electricity cost at 0.1 per KwH, users can enjoy some profit after a day's work.
 

Most miners' noise level is about 60db to 70db, but the Antminer L3+ has a noise level of 75db. The four dedicated fans are working to maintain stable mining conditions and prevent overheating cause the noise level. The standard fan setting adjusts automatically based on the ambient temperature. The Antminer L3+ is suitable for mining at home as the noise level is optimized but is best kept at mining farms.
